For 6/8, I've put The Ilusen's Fallacy onto 7" analog reel tape that can be played on any reel-to-reel machine.
Starting in the late 1940s, reel-to-reel was the first ever audio format to use magnetic tape and was popular among audiophile companies and settings until the late '80s, and is still used today for compression, sampling, and analog recording.
Since years before I've been into cassettes, I've always wanted to learn how to use a reel-to-reel machine, and a few months ago, I found an Akai 4000DS in a hobby shop which was a dream-come-true. The machine weighed more than half my size, but I carried it six miles all the way home regardless, just to make sure I could use it. Finally after getting it to work, I purchased EIGHT quarter-inch 1800ft reels to put my album onto, and now I want you to be able to own one. Each 7" tape reel is one-of-a-kind in both sound and aesthetic.
This will probably only be the only time I will ever put The Ilusen's Fallacy onto magnetic tape reel, and is the only death metal on reel-to-reel albums in existence.
Leave a message with your purchase if you'd like anything special done, such as an autograph inside the box, a different box, or even something special and within reason recorded onto Side 2.
